Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MyCare e-prescription services operated by MyCare Health Services (U) Ltd.

Service

MyCare connects patients to registered prescribers through WhatsApp. Prescribers issue e-prescriptions in the form of a branded PDF with a QR code that links back to the prescriber for follow-up. The PDF is generated at the time of prescription and is verifiable by the prescriber on request.

Medical disclaimer

MyCare prescriptions are issued based on information you provide to a care coordinator. They do not replace a physical consultation where one is clinically indicated. If your condition is severe, worsening, or accompanied by warning signs, you should seek emergency care at the nearest hospital.

Prescriber obligations

  • Prescribers on MyCare are registered practitioners in Uganda.
  • They are responsible for the clinical content of prescriptions they issue.
  • All prescriptions are traceable to the issuing prescriber.

Your obligations

  • Provide accurate patient information.
  • Do not forward MyCare prescriptions to third parties.
  • Do not attempt to alter or re-use a prescription after it is dispensed.
